A Texas Summer Evening

Softly and slowly the breeze floats above the golden heads of little flowers wild and hardy in light and heat

The hills gently roll in subtle topography, their scalps sparsely speckled with oaks standing proud and majestic in stately repose

The shadows stealthily grow, extending from trees and small grasses where fauna meet sunlight, expressions of feeding from the great setting orb

Wildly the great wide sea of swollen sky stretches out to gather in His clouds and gales and angry storms, collecting rain and harnessing the winds of great proud storehouses of space
