The Cædmon Knot

Knot Explanation

The Cædmon Knot is a form of the Celtic Four Knot, built with four interlocking triquetras which make four interlocking circles. Each of these triquetras are colored to symbolize the different seasons, Celtic Festivals, Realms of Existence, time of the day, Christian Year, and Directions. Additionally, the outer-facing points of each section, as well as the outer-facing overlaps sum to twelve points and symbolizes the twelve hands on the clock and the twelve months of the year (an expression of completeness).
